Omschrijving

The TRALERT® Apex series WR-1829V-4M is an LED work light designed for efficient use in a variety of work environments. Thanks to its combined light image as a flood beam and reversing light, this work light provides functional lighting in both working and manoeuvring situations. With a light output of 2,929 lm and a voltage range of 9-30 V (peak voltage up to 36 V), the model is suitable for variable electrical systems. The aluminium housing and polycarbonate lens provide a robust construction, suitable for outdoor use. The light is protected to IP69K and complies with CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R148 (R23) and CISPR25 Class 3 certification. As a result, the product is permitted as R23 LED reversing lights, among other things. The work light features an open wire end, 400 cm connection cable and is surface-mounted. The dimensions are 74.8 x 76 x 33.8 mm. ECE R10 — electromagnetic compatibility for vehicle electronics.

R10 is the reason a cheap LED strip can make a truck's ABS throw faults. It regulates how much electrical noise a lamp is allowed to emit, and how much external interference it has to tolerate. ADR is the European agreement governing the international carriage of dangerous goods by road. Annex B, Part 9 contains the electrical-installation rules that a lamp on an ADR-rated vehicle must meet. It is stricter than ordinary road-vehicle standards — a lamp fitted to a tanker carrying flammable liquid has to survive electrical and mechanical conditions an ordinary delivery truck never sees.
