LED LED Autolamps ' 235-serie LED rear lights are designed for mounting in vehicles with a 24 V electrical system. These LED rear lights combine the functions: indicator light and dynamic indicator light. Their elongated profile and flush mounting make them suitable for integration into a variety of body designs, such as semi-trailers and commercial vehicles. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate, contributing to increased impact resistance and protection against external influences. With an IP67 rating, the rear lights are fully dust-proof and protected against temporary immersion. Compliance with CE, ECE-R10 and ECE-R6 directives underlines suitability for legal use on public roads within Europe. Connection is via an open wire end with a cable length of 40 cm. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
