ECCO ESG 's ED5100 Ecco serie includes compact LED warning lights designed for efficient warning applications on commercial vehicles. Thanks to the surface-mounted design, the warning lights are easy to integrate on a variety of vehicle surfaces. This LED warning light operates within a voltage range of 12-24 V and features an open wire end with a cable length of 100 cm. The housing is made of wear-resistant aluminium and the lens from impact-resistant polycarbonate, which contributes to its durability under a variety of conditions. With an IP67 protection rating, this warning light is resistant to dust and temporary immersion. The unit meets the requirements of CE, ECE-R10 and ECE-R65, supporting application in regulated environments. ECE R65 — the rule behind every warning light.

ECE R65 is the European standard that determines whether a rotating or flashing beacon is road-legal. It defines luminous intensity, flash rate, colour and mechanical endurance. Without an R65 mark, a beacon is not allowed on a public road anywhere inside UNECE territory — and insurers routinely refuse claims on vehicles carrying non-approved warning lights.

ADR — lighting rules for dangerous-goods transport.

ADR is the European agreement governing the international carriage of dangerous goods by road. Annex B, Part 9 contains the electrical-installation rules that a lamp on an ADR-rated vehicle must meet. It is stricter than ordinary road-vehicle standards — a lamp fitted to a tanker carrying flammable liquid has to survive electrical and mechanical conditions an ordinary delivery truck never sees.
