Omschrijving

The LED Autolamps 99-serie is designed as a robust LED rear light for vehicles operating within a voltage range of 12-24 V. This model is suitable for application on semi-trailers, commercial vehicles and semi-trailers, where reliability and visibility are essential. This LED rear light combines the functions: rear light, brake lights, indicators and licence plate light. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate for extra impact resistance and protection against moisture and dust according to IP67 standard. The product features an open wire end with 50cm cable for direct mounting application, and is attached to the vehicle via surface mounting. Thanks to certifications according to CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R3, ECE-R7, ECE-R6 and ECE-R4, the lighting meets various European requirements for vehicle lighting. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps. It came into force for new vehicle type approvals in September 2023, with full mandatory application by 2027. What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
