Omschrijving

The Truck-Lite SL200-serie comprises compact LED work lights, suitable for surface mounting in vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V. Thanks to ADR certification, this model is permitted on vehicles transporting hazardous materials. The model features a sturdy polycarbonate housing and lens, making it suitable for use in tough working conditions. With a light output of 900 lm and an output of 25 W, this LED work light delivers clear, functional light. The light is water- and dust-proof to IP67 standard. Its dimensions of 200.6 x 26.6 x 65.9 mm and the use of a corner mounting make this model particularly suitable for use in limited installation spaces. Connection is via a 2-PIN SuperSeal connector. ECE R10 — electromagnetic compatibility for vehicle electronics.

R10 is the reason a cheap LED strip can make a truck's ABS throw faults. It regulates how much electrical noise a lamp is allowed to emit, and how much external interference it has to tolerate. Every lamp destined for a European road carrying a CE mark also needs an R10 stamp — the two are not the same.

ADR — lighting rules for dangerous-goods transport.

ADR is the European agreement governing the international carriage of dangerous goods by road. Annex B, Part 9 contains the electrical-installation rules that a lamp on an ADR-rated vehicle must meet. It is stricter than ordinary road-vehicle standards — a lamp fitted to a tanker carrying flammable liquid has to survive electrical and mechanical conditions an ordinary delivery truck never sees.
