Omschrijving

The ElectraQuip MLB-serie includes this LED beacon bar with fixed 1-bolt mounting, designed for application on vehicles with an on-board voltage of 12-24 V. With dimensions of 246x172x64 mm, this model is suitable for installations where limited space is available. The housing is made of aluminium and fitted with a strong polycarbonate lens. The beacon bar uses an open wire end with a cable length of 40 cm. Certified to CE, ECE R10 and ECE R65 standards, this model boasts IP65 protection rating, which means it is resistant to dust and water jets. The combination of compact design, durable materials and diverse flash patterns makes this LED beacon bar suitable for a variety of professional applications in traffic control and work vehicles. ECE R65 — the rule behind every warning light.

ECE R65 is the European standard that determines whether a rotating or flashing beacon is road-legal. It defines luminous intensity, flash rate, colour and mechanical endurance. Without an R65 mark, a beacon is not allowed on a public road anywhere inside UNECE territory — and insurers routinely refuse claims on vehicles carrying non-approved warning lights.
