Omschrijving

LED rear lights of the 101-serie from LED Autolamps are designed for use on vehicles with a 12 V electrical system. With a compact size of 100x100x22 mm and surface mounting, these rear lights are suitable for a variety of applications in vehicle installations with limited space. The housing is made of ABS and finished with an acrylic lens, which contributes to its durability. The combination of CE marking and ECE certifications R10, R3, R7 and R6 confirms compliance with relevant European directives on electromagnetic compatibility and visibility. With an IP67 rating, the rear lights are dust-proof and protected against temporary immersion. Electrical connection is via an open wire end with a cable length of 40cm. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps. It came into force for new vehicle type approvals in September 2023, with full mandatory application by 2027. What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
