Omschrijving

The ECCO ESG 13 serie Ecco is an LED beacon bar designed for applications on vehicles where clear visual signalling is required. This 1000 mm wide version features a freely adjustable bracket mounting, allowing flexible mounting on various vehicles within the voltage range of 12-24 V. The housing is made of aluminium and features an impact-resistant polycarbonate lens, suitable for intensive use in a variety of conditions. The LED beacon bar meets the certifications CE, ECE-R10 and ECE-R65, which means that the product is electromagnetically compatible and meets the set requirements for light signalling equipment within traffic applications. The beacon bar comes with open wire end and a cable length of 450cm, simplifying integration into existing electrical systems. ECE R65 — the rule behind every warning light.

ECE R65 is the European standard that determines whether a rotating or flashing beacon is road-legal. It defines luminous intensity, flash rate, colour and mechanical endurance. Without an R65 mark, a beacon is not allowed on a public road anywhere inside UNECE territory — and insurers routinely refuse claims on vehicles carrying non-approved warning lights.
